Our Company
Resort Team Development is a team of professionals with direct experience in the resort industry. In addition to providing training for hundreds of multi-national corporations and a wide range of industries during the past 25 years, we specialize in training for the resort and hotel industry. Our staff brings a wide range of diverse backgrounds, including working in management for both boutique properties and brand names such as Marriott and Hilton.

Our Approach to Training
After 15 years in the Leadership Development and Teambuilding industry we have seen a huge variety of systems, practices and theories. Upon careful observation and evaluation to discern the effectiveness of many of the popular training systems on the market, we have concluded there are four core elements for effective training programs:
Match the content to the audience - One size does not fit all; there are many training system and techniques that do not fit all industries or individuals. We provide a needs assessment before each program and adapt our programs to meet your objectives. In short, we do your program, you don’t do ours!
Be Straightforward - When content become too clinical or theoretical it can become overwhelming or worse yet - boring. Clear and simplified is generally better.
Create Engagement - Have fun! Classroom and lecture formats only hold our attention for short periods of time. By getting people on their feet, talking, moving, thinking and interacting- the learning curve goes up, up, up.
Create Commitment - Learning without action is simply an intellectual exercise. It is the process of application that gets results. We provide techniques for follow through and an action plan for each participant.
